We're delighted to have been invited by William Sitwell to cook at one of his legendary Supper Clubs in his family home, Weston Hall in Northamptonshire on Friday 23rd March.

William Sitwell is one of Britain's leading food writers. The multi-award-winning editor of acclaimed magazine Waitrose Food for 15 years, he writes for a number of newspapers and magazines and has authored three internationally successful books. William is also one of the long-standing critics on the hit BBC show MasterChef where he put us through our paces, but obviously liked what he saw enough to invite us to cook!

His acclaimed supper clubs are hosted in the beautiful setting of his family home, Weston Hall in rural Northamptonshire. Seating 50 people the Weston Supper Club sees chefs from London and across the UK cooking exquisite dinners with wines to match for amazing value.

Pasaeli Yapincak 2016 - One of the long lost but miraculously re-discovered grapes of Turkey, this Yapincak was the first of its kind in the modern era

Main:
Lamb Rump, Wild Garlic, BBQ Gem, Capers (GF)
To drink:
Vondeling Petit Rouge 2015 - A familiar sort of South African red, from an unfamiliar region in Voor-Paardeberg, one of the country’s newest official wine areas

Dessert:
Treacle Tart, Ginger, Rhubarb, Cream Cheese Ice Cream
To drink:
Cà ed Balos Passito Dorè NV - A sticky yet fresh passito dessert wine from the Moscato grape, grown near Asti in Piedmont

 

Vegetarian options in place of the fish and lamb main course are:
Beetroot, Walnut, Truffle
Spelt Risotto, Cauliflower, Wild Mushrooms, Wild Garlic.
